How to build portals and link portals

In order for portals to function they need to be linked to other destination portals. Portals can only teleport entities to other portals

To begin building a portal use /portal create Here you will set the portal name and optionally the direction player will face when exiting this portal

/portal create spawn north

Next, start building the portal frame followed by the command

/portal save

Then, fill in the center of the portal, once again followed by

/portal save

Follow the same steps for the next portal

/portal create lobby

/portal save

/portal save

Now you will need to link these portals to one another. This is achieved with /portal link. This will need to be executed for both portals

/portal link spawn lobby

/portal link lobby spawn

Done! You now have two functioning portals. There are no restrictions to how portals are linked. For example walking through the spawn portal could send you to the lobby portal, but the lobby portal could send you to the shop portal.
