Setup

A Setup is a collection of Drops and Chests. Each Setup has a unique name. This page will walk you through setting up a functioning Setup.

To get started, simply use /dp create [name]. Once you have made your new Setup, you will need to specify the chest or chests to use for the party. To do this, stand near the chest(s) you want to add and use /dp chest add [name]. each time you use it, you should see it find chests, unless there are no chests near you. The command should also ignore chests that are already on the list.

Now that you have the storage for the party, you need to make the drop points. To do this run the following command: /dp drop add [name] this will add a drop point at your feet, to have a better spread of items have the drop points around 4-6 blocks above the floor. NOTE: When the players tp to the party they will be teleported to the drop, so having it too high can have negative effects.

Now your Setup is mostly done. If you intend to have players start the Setup then a cost must be set to it. You can do this by using the /dp cost [name] [cost].

To start a party just use /dp start [name] {[delay] [persec] {admin}}, you don’t need to have the delay and items per second, but it is useful, the delay is in minutes, and the persec is how many items per second will be dropped, to keep this from killing the server I have capped the persec at 20. The final part is the admin tag. if you have the permission to use this, then you can add it after the persec, if you do then the items in the inventory will not be depleted, and it will run forever until you run /dp stop.

Now the Items dropped are not completely random, they are dropped based on tiers. The higher the tier, the lower the chance of it to drop. You can customizes the tiers as well. To do this, just use /dp tier add [tier] this will add the current item in your main hand to the specified tier. The tier ranges from 1-5, while there is a tier 0, it is only for items not listed in tier 1-5. Using this tier system also makes drops more fun, if you put a stack of items from each of the tiers (for example) the first few items will be mostly tier 0, when tier 0 runs out, then the items dropped will mostly be tier 1, and this will keep going till it drops all items, so the longer the drop party goes, the better the items dropped (unless you add only tier 0 items, or other instances)

For your players, they will be able to use /dp tp [name] and it will tp them to the specified drop party. I plan to add a way to just use /dp tp and have it tp you to the current drop party, and if one isn’t running, it wont teleport you.
